Solo Brands in Search for new CFO following Somer Webb’s Decision to Step Down

Solo Brands, Inc. (NYSE: DTC) has announced that its Chief Financial Officer, Somer Webb, intends to explore other career opportunities. Ms. Webb will continue her role with the company until December 10, 2023. In response, the company has enlisted the assistance of an executive search firm to identify her successor.

To fill the role of Interim CFO, the company has named Andrea Tarbox, who currently serves on the board of directors of Solo Brands and chairs the audit committee. Ms. Tarbox brings extensive CFO experience, including a 12-year tenure at KapStone Paper and Packaging, Inc. Following her appointment as Interim CFO, she will temporarily step down from her role as chair of the audit committee.

John Merris, Chief Executive Officer, expressed appreciation for Somer Webb’s contributions and acknowledged the company’s good fortune to have Ms. Tarbox on board. He believes her experience and familiarity with the company will enable her to effectively lead the financial function during the interim period.

Ms. Webb shared her gratitude and well-wishes for the company’s future success. Solo Brands plans to release its third-quarter 2023 financial results on November 7, 2023 and will host a conference call to discuss these results.
