Daniel Kurgan is the new President and CEO of Arelion – Staffan Göjeryd Steps Down

The Arelion Board of Directors has officially appointed Daniel Kurgan as the new President and CEO of Arelion, marking a change in leadership. Staffan Göjeryd, who led the company for a notable seven-year period, will be stepping down.

Daniel Kurgan, a member of Arelion’s Board since January 2022, boasts over 25 years of experience in the industry and has held various leadership roles. Notably, he served as CEO of BICS for 14 years, acted as Chairman of TeleSign, chaired Intercloud, and provided senior advisory services at Drake Star.

Daniel Kurgan has assumed the position of CEO of Arelion with immediate effect and has resigned from the Board, where he has served since January 2022. Meanwhile, Staffan Göjeryd, who had been at the helm of Arelion (formerly Telia Carrier) since August 2016, is stepping down.
