Transat in Search of New CFO following Patrick Bui’s Decision to Step Down
Transat A.T. Inc. has made an announcement regarding the departure of Chief Financial Officer Patrick Bui, who intends to step down from his role on December 15, 2023, as he pursues a new career opportunity. Bui will continue to fulfill his responsibilities to ensure a seamless transition, which includes overseeing the release of the company’s fiscal year-end results for the period ending October 31, 2023. Transat has initiated a formal search process to identify a new Chief Financial Officer.
Patrick Bui, reflecting on his time as CFO, stated, “I am proud to have served Transat as CFO and to have supported its teams in the execution of its strategic plan, enabling the company to solidify its financial foundation and emerge from the pandemic as a far more resilient business.”
Annick Guérard, President and CEO of Transat, expressed her gratitude on behalf of the Board of Directors and the Senior Management Team, acknowledging Patrick Bui’s dedication and his role in contributing to the substantial financial performance improvements of Transat. She noted the company’s recent record profitability in the third quarter and the heightened adjusted EBITDA margin target over the last two quarters. Guérard extended best wishes for Bui’s future endeavors.
