Apogee Names Former Parsons VP Andrew Cox as its new CFO
In a LinkedIn post on Wednesday, Andrew Cox announced that he has assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer at Apogee, following a successful tenure of more than two years as the Vice President of Finance at Parsons (NYSE: PSN).
With over 22 years of extensive experience in financial management, the majority of which has been in the defense manufacturing industry, Cox has demonstrated his expertise and leadership.
Cox embarked on his financial management career as a Financial Manager at what was then L3 Communications, now known as L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX), back in September 2001. He then transitioned to a role as a Senior Financial Analyst at ITT, an industrial machinery manufacturer, in 2008. In that same year, he earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in finance from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs.
In 2009, Cox assumed his first senior leadership position as the CFO of the defense and space contractor TechWise. Nearly six years later, he took on the role of Vice President of Finance at Braxton Science & Technology Group, which is now under the ownership of Parsons.
