John Rowley Joins Wallem to Succeed John-Kaare Aune in the Role of CEO

The CEO of Wallem Group, John-Kaare Aune, will step down from his role after a transitional period, culminating in his departure in January 2024. The Wallem Board has appointed John Rowley as his successor, starting his role on January 1, 2024.

Aune’s journey with Wallem began in 2019 when he took on the role of Managing Director Shipmanagement. In January 2021, he was promoted to the position of Group CEO.

John Rowley currently serves as the Senior Vice President for the Global Food and Transportation Divisions at NSF. Previously, he served as the CEO of SAI Global Assurance.

Rowley brings significant experience, having been a key member of the executive team at the Lloyds Register Group for eight years. During this time, he served as the CEO of Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) and held the position of the Group’s Asia Pacific President.
