Current CFO of Next Amanda James Retires after 28 years
Amanda James is set to retire as Chief Financial Officer of Next next year, concluding her remarkable 28-year tenure with the company. Her departure from the group is scheduled following the release of Next’s interim results on September 26, 2024. She will officially step down from the board on July 26, 2024.
Taking her place as CFO will be Jonathan Blanchard, who currently holds the position of CFO at Reiss, a company in which Next holds a majority stake. Jonathan will commence his role with the parent company in February of the coming year and will assume the responsibilities of CFO in July. Simultaneously, he will join the board of directors.
Back in 2017, Blanchard took on the role of director at Reiss and played a pivotal role in the company’s negotiations and successful implementation of the transition to the Next Total Platform.
