Aristov Aleksandr: A Journey through Life and Career

Aristov Aleksandr

Aristov Aleksandr Mikhailovich can look back at his long and successful life and career knowing he has achieved so very much. With a Doctorate in Economics, he’s a respected agribusiness professional, and this former entrepreneur fondly remembers that his early years had been marked by way of dedication and hard work. He carefully balanced his preference to get a quality education even while working a sequence of menial jobs to assist his mother and father in running the family home.

He got his first job at 14 as a carpenter. In 1969, he became a fitter at a workshop at the Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant. While balancing work and education, Aristov Aleksandr started attending the Workers’ Faculty of the Chelyabinsk Polytechnic Institute in 1971. By 1972, he transitioned to the Mechanical and Technological Faculty of the same university, specialising in mechanical engineering.

Throughout his academic journey, he took on part-time jobs and actively participated in student construction brigades, contributing to various construction projects. During that period, his leadership skills, along with his talent to organise and unite people, first emerged. Aleksandr Aristov recalls: “I acquired the construction materials, made all the arrangements for the projects, and we built everything ourselves.”

He graduated from the Institute with a diploma in Mechanical Engineering, which then led the way for Aristov Aleksandr to make the most of his know-how in overseeing the construction of various agricultural properties – from cattle housings to grain silos.

His first huge step into the world of entrepreneurship came in 1988, co-establishing the Energiya cooperative along with his enterprise accomplice at the time. At the start, it targeted on better best client items, then later switched its focus to food production. The Energiya cooperative thrived for the duration of its evolution, and in 1995, established the Ariant food industry Center.

In 1995, construction on a sparkling wine plant began in Chelyabinsk, where the production of mineral table water and sweet carbonated water under the new brand Ariant was established. Operations expanded to include meat production, which became a separate department, experiencing rapid growth and improvement.

Since then, Ariant has demonstrated substantial growth in the food industry markets. From 2008 to 2015, Aleksandr Aristov served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of LLC Food Industry Center – Ariant. In 2020, after years of first-rate achievements in the business world, Aristov Aleksandr made the momentous decision to reevaluate his involvement and ceased his business activities.

Today, this allows him to spend valuable time with his family and in particular quality time with his grandchildren. As a former visionary businessman and now agribusiness professional, his lifestyles and career continue to be an example to generations to come.
