Shoe Carnival, Inc. (Nasdaq: SCVL) appoints Patrick Edwards as the Company’s Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Secretary, and Treasurer, effective immediately.
The Company also announced today that Erik Gast, the Company’s Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer, has mutually agreed to leave the Company to pursue other opportunities.
Mr. Edwards, a current Shoe Carnival executive officer, has held the positions of Chief Accounting Officer and Secretary at the Company since 2021. He has also served as Vice President and Controller since joining Shoe Carnival in 2019. Mr. Edwards has played a crucial role in the Company’s successful growth and financial strategies during his tenure.
Before joining Shoe Carnival, Mr. Edwards held various roles in finance and accounting during his 18-year career with Vectren Corporation, a publicly traded utility holding company. His roles included Vice President and Treasurer, as well as Vice President of Corporate Audit. Earlier in his career, Mr. Edwards worked in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
