Aparna Iyer Succeeds Current CFO of Wipro Jatin Dalal

Wipro Limited (WIPR.NS), the Indian IT services provider, announced on Thursday the appointment of Aparna C Iyer as its Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately, according to a regulatory filing. In her new role, Aparna will report directly to CEO Thierry Delaporte and will become a member of the Wipro Executive Board. She succeeds Jatin Dalal, who is stepping down as CFO to explore other career opportunities. While Aparna officially assumes the position of CFO on September 22nd, Dalal will remain in his role until November 30th, as stated by Wipro.

Thierry Delaporte, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Wipro Limited praised Aparna as a highly accomplished and results-driven leader. He highlighted her two-decade-long career with Wipro, during which she played a pivotal role in the company’s financial transformation. Aparna contributed significantly to financial strategy, planning, investment programs, and transformation initiatives. Delaporte also expressed his gratitude to Jatin Dalal for his contributions to Wipro and extended his best wishes for Dalal’s future endeavors.

Aparna herself expressed excitement about her new role as CFO during this critical phase for Wipro. She looks forward to collaborating with Thierry, the finance team, and the entire organization to build upon their successes, foster sustainable growth, and create value for all stakeholders.

Aparna Iyer has been with Wipro since April 2003 and has held various finance positions over her tenure, including roles in internal audit, business finance, finance planning and analysis, corporate treasury, and investor relations. Most recently, she served as the Senior Vice President and CFO of Wipro FullStride Cloud. Aparna brings deep expertise in financial risk management, capital allocation, fundraising, and driving business strategy and growth.
