Michel van den Bogaard Joins Signicat as CFO

Signicat has officially appointed Michel van den Bogaard as its new Chief Financial Officer, based at the Rotterdam office. In his new role, van den Bogaard will oversee a substantial team of more than 35 professionals operating across Europe.

Michel van den Bogaard brings a wealth of financial experience to this role, with over 25 years of diverse experience in various financial positions. His impressive resume includes stints at globally renowned brands such as Shell and Heineken, as well as valuable experience in the private equity sector.

Prior to joining Signicat, Michel held the prestigious position of Group CFO at SENTIA. SENTIA, a leader in delivering critical Managed Cloud Services across Northwestern Europe, was recently integrated into Accenture’s extensive portfolio.

Signicat is well-recognized for its Digital Trust technologies, serving a diverse clientele throughout Europe and offering solutions that are crucial in the ever-evolving digital landscape. The company is currently undergoing a transformative phase. With strategic acquisitions of European firms like Dokobit in Lithuania, Sphonic in the United Kingdom, and Electronic Identification in Spain, Signicat has cemented its position as the premier provider of European digital identity services.
