Ontex Group NV, a prominent international provider of personal hygiene solutions, announced that Peter Vanneste, the Chief Financial Officer of Ontex, has chosen to depart from Ontex in early October 2023 to pursue a career opportunity outside the organization. The appointment of his successor will be communicated at an appropriate time. In the interim period, the responsibilities of the CFO will be temporarily taken over by Gustavo Calvo Paz, the CEO.
“We recognize the contribution that Peter Vanneste has made, shaping and executing Ontex’s strategic transformation, including refocusing with successful divestments. He also contributed to guiding the company through the difficult macroeconomic conditions with a clear focus on the Group’s financial health and organization. This allowed Ontex to gradually restore profitable growth and improve its balance sheet. We wish Peter the best with his next endeavors,” stated Paz.
