CFO of ForFarmers Roeland Tjebbes Resigns
Roeland Tjebbes, the Chief Financial Officer of ForFarmers, will be stepping down from his role at the company and resigning from the executive board effective December 31. Tjebbes has reportedly accepted a new position as CFO at Kramp, a European supplier of agricultural, forest, grass care, and construction industry parts and services.
In a press release, Tjebbes expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to work collaboratively with his colleagues in the agricultural sector on a revised strategic direction over the past few years. Despite the positive experience, he has made the challenging decision to leave ForFarmers. Tjebbes wished the company’s management and his colleagues success and expressed confidence in ForFarmers’ vital and strong role in the agricultural sector.
Jan van Nieuwenhuizen, the chairman of ForFarmers’ supervisory board, acknowledged Tjebbes’ departure with regret but respected his decision. Van Nieuwenhuizen recognized Tjebbes’ dedication to ForFarmers, both in his primary role and when he temporarily assumed CEO responsibilities last year. He expressed gratitude on behalf of the supervisory board and wished Tjebbes success in his new position.
Roeland Tjebbes joined ForFarmers in March 2020 and was appointed as a board member for a four-year term in April 2020. As CFO, his responsibilities included overseeing control/finance, information technology, legal affairs, risk management, mergers and acquisitions, and investor relations. He holds a degree in business economics from Maastricht University and is a certified chartered accountant from Tilburg University.
