Lauren Brindley from Walgreens Joins Revolution Beauty as CEO
Lauren Brindley, the incoming CEO, has joined Revolution Beauty from Walgreens, where she held the position of Group VP for Beauty & Personal Care. She is set to officially assume her role on September 18, 2023, taking over from Bob Holt, who is stepping down as CEO and departing the company on August 31.
In addition to the appointment of CEO Brindley, Revolution Beauty has also welcomed Colin Henry and Chris Fry as Independent Non-Executive Directors. They will replace Jeremy Schwartz, Rachel Maguire, and Matthew Eatough, who have confirmed that they will not seek re-election at the upcoming AGM.
As the new CEO, Brindley will have the responsibility of leading the global expansion of the beauty brand and overseeing its strategic growth. Alistair McGeorge, the current Chair, will transition to the role of Non-Executive Chairman upon Brindley’s appointment.
Alistair McGeorge expressed enthusiasm about Brindley joining the company, stating, “We are pleased that Lauren will be joining Revolution Beauty at such a critical and exciting time for the Group. Lauren’s extensive knowledge of the beauty and retail industries and proven track record of driving meaningful results will be critical as we build Revolution Beauty into a global beauty leader.
“Before joining Revolution Beauty, Brindley served as the Group VP for Beauty & Personal Care at Walgreens, where she oversaw the beauty and personal care strategy of the American retailer. Her previous experience includes roles at Boots UK and Boots Retail International, where she held positions such as Head of Prestige Beauty & Fragrance and Head of the No.7 Beauty Brand & Mass Beauty categories.
