Revlon Makes Drastic Changes in the Executive Team
On Friday, Revlon revealed three fresh leadership appointments. The appointments will come into effect on September 5th and will be under the purview of Interim CEO Elizabeth Smith.
Ted McCormick will assume the role of the company’s Chief Financial Officer. He has previously held the CFO position at Real Truck, The Bountiful Company, and Roland Foods. McCormick also has a background in senior finance roles at Unilever.
The role of the Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer is taken by Will Cornock. Cornock most recently served as a partner at the Boston Consulting Group, bringing nearly two decades of experience in corporate transformation, strategy, and innovation, with a primary focus on the consumer products sector.
Geralyn Breig has been appointed as Revlon’s President of North America. Breig boasts 30 years of expertise in marketing, brand development, and business model transformation. She has previously led North American operations at Clarks Americas and Avon Products. Breig currently holds a position on the board of directors for HanesBrands, and her previous board memberships include 1-800-Flowers and Welch Foods.
Revlon experienced a transition at the beginning of August when Debra Perelman stepped down from her roles as CEO and President, culminating in more than twenty years of involvement with the company, including five years as Chief Executive.
Following its emergence from bankruptcy this spring, the company effectively reduced its debt by over $2.7 billion. In May, Revlon established a fresh board of directors featuring former executives from notable companies like Bloomin’ Brands, Sephora, Gap Inc., and Walgreens Boots Alliance.
