Who is the new CFO of IRB (Re)?
IRB (Re), the Brazilian reinsurance company, has introduced Rodrigo Souza Lobo Botti as its newly appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This change in leadership marks the succession of Marcos Pessôa de Queiroz Falcão, who had been serving as the CFO since March 9, 2023.
This new responsibility will complement Falcão’s existing roles as Chief Executive Officer and Investor Relations Officer. Pessôa de Queiroz Falcão will continue to hold his positions as Chief Executive Officer and Investor Relations Officer for the ongoing term of office.
The announcement specifies that the ongoing term of office for all members of the Company’s Statutory Officers will conclude on July 3, 2025.
From 2020 to 2023, Marcos Pessôa de Queiroz Falcão served as the local office representative for Patria Re, the largest reinsurer in Mexico and a significant player in Latin America. Additionally, he was a Founding Partner and Executive at Terra Brasis Reinsurance, where he worked from 2011 to 2020.
