Gina Rinehart follows in second place with $26.4 billion, while Andrey Melnichenko ranks third with $24.4 billion, and Vladimir Potanin comes in fourth with $23.7 billion.

The fifth and sixth spots on the list are occupied by Iris Fontbona, whose net worth is $22.6 billion, and Vladimir Lisin, whose net worth is $22.1 billion. Alexey Mordashov is placed 7th with a net worth of $20.6 billion. Savitri Jindal ($20.5  billion) occupied the 8th position among the wealthiest people in the metals and mining industry, followed by Andrew Forrest (No. 9) with $18.2  billion and Lakshmi Mittal (No. 10, $16.1 billion).
