CEO of Aptech Anil Pant Sadly Passed Away

On August 15, Anil Pant, the Managing Director and CEO of Aptech, sadly passed away. The company officially communicated this unfortunate news through a BSE filing, stating, “The Company regrets to inform about the sad demise of Dr Anil Pant, Managing Director & CEO of the Company, on Tuesday, August 15, 2023. Dr. Pant’s contribution and energy will be missed by the company. All the Directors and employees of the Company convey their deepest condolences to his family”.

Anil Pant had taken indefinite leave in June, and the company had disclosed to the stock exchanges its measures to appoint an interim CEO.

Pant obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree and a Ph.D. in information technology from Lincoln University College in Malaysia.

Anil Pant held the role of MD and CEO at Aptech since 2016. With a career spanning over 15 years in IT and communication, Pant had been involved in various aspects such as sales, quality, delivery, marketing, and product management, culminating in significant responsibilities, including P&L responsibility in his recent roles.

Between 2010 and 2016, Pant served as the principal consultant at TCS, where he led the establishment of a $100 million practice in the testing domain over a span of five years. He held a Six Sigma Black Belt certification. From 2008 to 2010, he occupied the position of vice president at Sify Technologies.
