As of October 31, 2022, Zhong Shanshan was the wealthiest man in China, with an estimated net worth of 61.2 billion U.S. dollars, followed by Zhang Yiming (No. 2, $49.5 billion), Ma Huateng (No. 3, $23.8 billion); and Ma Jack (No. 4, $20.6 billion).

Wang Wei is the fifth-richest person in China, with a whopping $19.0 billion. Qin Yinglin ranked 6th with a personal wealth of $19.5 billion, followed by William Lei Ding with $19.3 billion. Wang Chuanfu is placed 8th with a net worth of $19.0 billion. Wang Wenyin  ($16.9 billion) occupied the 9th position among the top 10 wealthiest people in China.
