Here is a list of some of the best colleges where you can study Law in Sweden: 

  1. Stockholm University
    Stockholm University is a Swedish public university located in Stockholm. Stockholm University has a law faculty despite not having a separate law school. The Master of Laws in International Commercial Arbitration Law combines theory and practice. Person and group projects, as well as writing a master’s thesis, will help students improve their legal study, writing, and presentation skills. It is a top-ranked program on the international stage, with a mix of theory and practice. The Master of Laws in European Economic Law is intended to provide advanced expertise in European Economic Law.

  2. Lund University
    Lund University’s law programs are among the highest and most innovative in the world. The Lund University offers Master’s degree programs alongside free online law courses and Doctoral programs. The law department at Lund University offers different international Master’s programs. The first one is two 2-year Master’s programs in International Human Rights Law and European Business Law, and a 1-year Master’s in European and International Tax Law, a Master’s Program in Sociology of Law. In addition, the university offers a Master of Laws Program.

  3. University of Gothenburg
    The University of Gothenburg is one of Sweden’s most diverse and flexible universities, with eight faculties and 38 departments. In many of its subjects and courses, the University of Gothenburg has the highest number of applicants per study spot, making it one of Sweden’s most successful universities. The University of Gothenburg’s Gothenburg School of Commerce, Economics, and Law is one of Sweden’s top business schools, based in Gothenburg.

  4. Uppsala University
    Uppsala University is the oldest university not only in Sweden but also in the Nordic region, ranking among the top 100 universities in the world. It was established in Uppsala, Sweden, in 1477. Uppsala University does not have a law school; rather, it has a law faculty or department. The law department offers undergraduate and doctoral degrees in law. The law degree is divided into two levels: undergraduate and graduate, each of which takes 270 credit hours and 4.5 years to complete.
  5. World Maritime University
    In collaboration with Lloyd’s Maritime Academy, which is part of KNect365, a subsidiary of Informa plc, one of the world’s leading business intelligence, academic writing, information, and events companies, WMU offers two International Maritime Law programs, an LLM and a Postgraduate Diploma.
