Laurence Tracol appointed as CFO of the global travel marketplace Skyscanner
Skyscanner has appointed Laurence Tracol as CFO. Laurence joined the global travel marketplace Skyscanner as VP of Finance in September 2020.
Reporting to CEO John Mangelaars, Laurence will lead Skyscanner’s global finance function, including financial planning and analysis, M&A and business analytics and reporting across multiple locations and jurisdictions in Europe, USA, and Asia Pacific.
Skyscanner’s CEO John Mangelaars said: “I’m delighted to have Laurence on board as CFO, bringing her strong leadership skills, financial experience and passion to the role. Over the last year she has been instrumental in shaping our response to the complexities currently impacting the travel industry as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. As travel recovers, Laurence is a key part of the executive team shaping our business strategy and ambitious long term growth plans.”

Who is Laurence Tracol?
Laurence Tracol was born and raised in France, where she gained her accounting and finance qualifications including an MBA completed at HEC Paris. She brings with her 25 years of financial experience at major high tech and e-commerce companies in Europe and the Silicon Valley in the US, whilst also serving in strategic advisory and non-executive director roles. Prior to joining Skyscanner, Laurence held several finance leadership positions at eBay, most recently Deputy CFO for eBay International. Laurence is married and has two teenage children. As a family, they strongly believe that travel is a force for good. They are travel enthusiasts and passionate about sustainable experiences and cultural connections.
