With a median wealth per adult of US$238,070, Australians are the richest people in the world, according to the 2021 Global Wealth Report by Credit Suisse. People living in developed countries remain the wealthiest in the world. How do other major economies fare?
Belgium recorded a median wealth per adult of $US230,500 and Hong Kong recorded $US173,770, while New Zealand followed closely in fourth with a median wealth per adult of $US171,620. (This means that half of the people in these nations have more wealth than this and half have less.)
