World’s Best Workplaces From The Field Of Technology For 2020
The recent results of the Great Place to Work confirm the fact that multinational companies in the wider field of technology and telecommunications provide the best working environment among other industries. For 2020, nine of the 25 multinational companies with the best working environment in the world, or about a third of the total, come from the sector of Information Technology.
In fact, the industries that dominate the list are the sectors of Information Technology and Manufacturing & Production. Technology company Cisco ranked for the second year in a row, in the first place. The company was distinguished in 21 countries all over the world. The company headquarters are in the USA and has a total number of 74.000 employees globally.
In addition to Cisco, the technology industry is represented on the same list with some more companies. For example, Salesforce took 4th place with headquarters in the USA and 40.152 employees globally. The company was distinguished in 12 countries all over the world.
Furthermore, Mercado Libre with headquarters in Argentina ranked in 8th place on the list. The company has 8.655 employees globally and was distinguished in six countries.
The SAS Institute ranked in 9th place with 14.000 employees globally. The headquarters of the SAS Institute is in the USA. The SAS Institute was distinguished in 19 countries.
Intuit Inc follows in 11th place with 9.382 employees and headquarters in the USA. The company was distinguished in six countries.
Closely follows the SAP company which took 12th place on the list. The company with headquarters in Germany and 95.853 employees was distinguished in 13 countries. Adobe ranked in the 13th place of the list with headquarters in the USA and 22.000 employees. The company was distinguished in seven countries.
Dell Technologies comes at 17th place with headquarters in the USA and 165.000 employees globally. The company was distinguished in 8 countries all over the world.
Next comes Cadence. The company with headquarters in the USA and 7.500 employees globally took 18th place on the list. The company was distinguished in 11 countries all over the world.
Not to forget to mention that Cisco and Salesforce occupy the first two places in the list of Best Workplaces in Europe for 2020.
The Great Place to Work for the 10th consecutive year evaluates and announces the 25 companies, which stand out in 2020 for their working environment and are included in the «World’s Best Workplaces List». The Great Place to Work survey involved more than 10.000 companies and organizations worldwide, employing more than 10.2 million people in 92 countries.
To be on this list, a company must be ranked in at least five national Best Workplaces lists worldwide. Also, a company must have at least 5.000 employees worldwide and 40% of its workforce, must work outside the country in which the headquarters are located.
