Top US companies best at marketing, 2020
The emarketer.com published a list of 25 companies that are the best at marketing. The companies are ranked by brand value and there is a comparison between 2019-2020.
Amazon is at the top of the list. The company’s brand value has changed +20% within a year from 279.33 billion dollars in 2019 to 334.65 billion dollars in 2020. In the second place comes Apple and Google follows third in the list. Apple’s brand value decreased by 4% between 2019-2020 from 316.07 billion dollars to 303.38 billion dollars. Also, Google shows a decrease of 3% from 313.27 billion dollars in 2019 to 303.22 billion dollars in 2020. The five best at marketing companies complete Microsoft and Visa. Microsoft’s brand value has changed +21% within a year from 215.50 billion dollars in 2019 to 261.09 billion dollars in 2020 while Visa noted an increase of 15% between 2019-2020. The rest 5 companies that complete the top 10 list are Facebook, McDonald’s, Mastercard, AT&T, and Verizon.
It’s a fact that the most significant increase in brand value within a year was noted in Microsoft (21%), Amazon (20%) and Accenture (20%). Xfinity and Walmart have also noted a significant increase in brand value within a year (18% both of them). On the other hand, the Wells Fargo company had the most significant decrease in brand value within a year (29%). Definitely there is a huge gap in brand value between the top 5 companies compared with those that are at the bottom of the list.
