The lingerie market is often broken into two product categories: Brassiere and Briefs. Brassiere held the largest market share of over 55.5% in 2018. In that year, 28.5% of the lingerie materials market global revenue was generated by the selling of elastic fabrics products, followed by molded foam (22.1%), Elastic webbing (21.3%), lace (15.7%), and others (12.4%).
The report finds that In 2018, the lingerie market in the United States was valued at approximately $6.87 billion and it was forecast to reach a value of $11.36 billion by 2025. India lingerie market stood at around $3.5 billion in 2018 and is projected to reach $8.15 billion by 2025.
