Countries with the highest per capita spending on healthcare, 2019
Comparing health spending in the United States to other countries is complicated, health expenditure in the U.S. is around $10,586 per person per year, while the average OECD country spends $4,000 per person.
India, Indonesia and, China were worst off. Health expenditure in India is around $209 per person per year, while Indonesia spends $301 per person. China’s per capita health spending was $688.
