These Are The 20 Best (And Worst) Cities in America For Vegans In 2019

MOVE over Chicago and Washington DC – Portland, OR has been named the best city in America for Vegans in 2019. Los Angeles ranked number 2 on the list, followed by Orlando (No. 3), Seattle, WA (No. 4), and Austin, TX (No. 5).

Magazine placed Atlanta, GA in sixth on the list ahead of New York, NY, and San Francisco, CA. San Diego, CA and Tampa, FL round out the list at nine and ten, respectively.

To determine the best and cheapest cities for vegetarians and vegans, WalletHub compared the 100 largest U.S. cities across 16 key indicators of vegan- and vegetarian-friendliness.
