Here are the world’s most-traveled airports in 2017.
Atlanta-Hartsfield-Jackson (ATL) of Georgia has been ranked as the busiest airport in the world for 2017 in terms of traffic volumes, according to a new report by the Airports Council International.
With 95.7 million passengers (both departing and arriving), Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) ranked number two on the list, followed by Dubai International Airport (DXB), Tokyo International Airport (HND), and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
And to surprise!
New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport is no longer ranked among the 20 busiest in the world. About 59.4 million passengers used the airport in 2017, ranking it 22nd worldwide.
