Revealed: Here Are The 10 Best And Worst Jobs In America, 2017

The position of a statistician has been named as the “Best Job In America for 2017” by CareerCast, which produces annual rankings of 200 professions. Meanwhile, the position of newspaper reporter — a relatively low-paying occupation with declining employment — has been named the “worst job in America,” 2017.

The study, which is based on information from the US Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics, ranked statisticians – number 1 as a best job in the U.S. – with a projected growth of 34% per cent through to 2024 and a median salary of $80,110.

The second-best job went to Medical services managers, projected growth of 17% and a median salary of $94,500.

This was followed by Operations research analysts, projected growth of 30% and a median salary of $78,630.

On the other hand, the worst US jobs for 2017 went to Newspaper reporters, Broadcasters, Loggers, and enlisted military personnel.
