Chanel tops the 2016 list of most powerful fashion and lifestyle brands in China, among the emerging mid to high-end consumers. Starbucks, the world’s largest coffee company, has placed second on a list the most powerful premium brand for Chinese consumers, followed by Cartier, IKEA, and Nike. The survey suggests that European and American brands still dominate fashion market in China.

The top 10 powerful fashion and lifestyle brands in China are:

The rankings are based on a uniquely detailed analysis of data from sales in China, mentions and searches on Chinese social media platforms and search engines, and a survey of mid-high end Chinese consumers.

Prof. Dr. Amarendra Bhushan Dhiraj is a publishing executive and economist who is the CEO and editor-in-chief of The CEOWORLD magazine, one of the world’s most influential and recognized global news publications. Additionally, he serves as the chair of the advisory board for the CEOWORLD magazine. He received his Ph.D. in Finance and Banking from the European Global School, Paris, France.
