World’s top 30 biggest money-making football clubs, 2016
For the 11th year in a row, the Spanish giants, Real Madrid have been named the richest football club in the world by Deloitte, according to a new report from Deloitte’s sports business group.
Real Madrid generated €577m; in revenue during the 2014/15 season, beating Spanish rival Barcelona’s €560.8 million, Manchester United dropped from 2nd to 3rd in the table with revenue of €519.5 million.
However, Manchester United, in 3rd place this year, have a good chance of overtaking Real Madrid and Barcelona at the top of football’s rich list next year.
