The Top 18 highest paid actresses in the world for 2015
It comes as no surprise that “Hunger Games” star Jennifer Lawrence topped the list of the world’s highest paid actresses. The 25-year-old, Jennifer Lawrence took in an estimated $52 million in just a 12-month span.
Powered by her superhero turn in “Avengers: Age of Ultron”, Scarlett Johansson was the runner-up, raking in a cool $35.5 million, followed by “Bridesmaid” star Melissa McCarthy with $23 million, according to the Forbes list of the world’s highest-paid actresses.
Of the 18 women on the list, Chinese actress Fan Bingbing is the only non-American to make the list, who earned around $21 million.
In total, the actresses on the list brought in $281 million before taxes and fees. The Forbes ranking measures money earned in the 12 months. Only 4 actresses on the list earned more than $20 million, while 21 of their male counterparts banked $20 million or more.
