The Top 12 Airlines In The World For 2015
It’s no surprise, the Doha-based airline, Qatar Airways has been named the best Airline in the World for 2015 by U.K. researcher Skytrax, with results taken from passenger surveys.
Singapore Airlines, which operates the highly-popular Airbus A380 superjumbo from Singapore’s Changi International airport, was the 2nd most favourite airline on the list of “The Top 100 Airlines In The World For 2015” followed by Cathay Pacific Airways, Turkish Airlines.
Emirates completed the top five in Skytrax’s selection of the world’s top airlines. Other airlines to make the cut included Etihad Airways in sixth place, while ANA All Nippon Airways, Garuda Indonesia, EVA Air, and Qantas Airways, in seventh, eighth and ninth place, respectively.
“I am honored to lead a company that has paved such an accomplished path to excellence, and innovation, demonstrating the team’s unwavering pride in their work and the experience provided to each of our passengers,” Group Chief Executive Qatar Airways Akbar Al Baker said in a statement.
