Top 12 Best US Cities For Jobs Right Now

So if you’re searching for a new job that you like and pay reasonable living costs or thinking of relocating to the US, move to North Carolina capital Raleigh, according to data released by Glassdoor, an online job rating and salary comparison site.

Raleigh came in at No. 1 on the list of the 25 best cities for jobs, Raleigh has more than 24,000 job openings and residents earn a median base salary of $50,950, while median home values remain a relatively modest $198,400. The city has long been attractive to major companies like IBM and Cisco.

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma came in at No. 3 on the list, trailing just Kansas City, Missouri. Kansas City, MO has 28,786 job openings; the median base salary is $46,000; and the median home value is $138,500.

Austin is the No. 4 city on the list with a median base salary of about $50,000 and a median home value of $226,400. Seattle, WA was 5th. Seattle finished No. 5 with 69,423 job openings, a $70,000 median base salary, and a $344,700 median home value.
