Highly Recommended: What Are The 10 Best Nintendo 3DS Games?
Today, We’ve compiled a comprehensive list of the very best Nintendo 3DS Games. The 3DS’s library is filled with excellent games, but which ones are the absolute best games you can play on Nintendo’s handheld console?
If you think we overlooked a great Nintendo 3DS game that should be one this list, please post them below in the comment section. Let’s take this show on the road, here are TEN of the best of the best (of the bestest) Nintendo 3DS Games – in alphabetical order:
1. Bravely Default (Bravely Default: Flying Fairy,) is the most traditional role-playing video game (RPG/CRPG) Square Enix has put out in some time for the Nintendo 3DS – despite starting out as a Final Fantasy game–does not actually carry the name of the franchise. Bravely Default was developed by Square Enix but ended up being published outside of Japan (where it was released in 2012) by Nintendo.
2. Crimson Shroud – An adventure RPG from Tactics Ogre master Yasumi Matsuno, it is only available as a digital download from the Nintendo 3DS eShop.
3. Fire Emblem: Awakening, a tactical role-playing video game (TRPG/SRPG) developed by Intelligent Systems uses an Advance Wars-like grid to move units across maps to beat enemies and accomplish objective.
4. Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon – A much deeper, and far more varied adventure than 2001’s Luigi’s Mansion developed by Next Level Games, Dark Moon replaces point-and-click with suck-and-blow, and in doing so improves on the original formula to create something really special.
5. Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (Monster Hunter 3 (tri-) G,) same as the Wii U version, except it’s portable and boasts the ability to transfer your save file across both platforms and the first game to support the Circle Pad Pro add-on.
6. The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (The Legend of Zelda: The Triforce of the Gods 2,) the best Zelda title since Capcom’s Oracle games and one of my favorite video games.
7. The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D, the most beloved game in the entire Legend of Zelda franchise, co-developed by Grezzo and Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS handheld console.
8. Pokémon X and Y, one of the best games on the 2DS/3DS, developed by Game Freak for the Nintendo 3DS, doesn’t radically change the Pokémon formula, but it doesn’t really have to do ss —- still one of the best games on the 2DS/3DS.
9. Shin Megami Tensei IV, an Atlus RPG for the Nintendo 3DS .
10. Super Mario 3D Land, one of the best games on the 3DS platform and first Mario game to be released for Nintendo 3DS.
