These are United Kingdom’s top 20 best universities: ranking 2017

University of Oxford and University of Cambridge

Oxford and Cambridge were both picked as two of the world’s top ten best universities, ending up in 6th and 7th place respectively, according to the 2017 Best Global Universities ranking by U.S. News & World Report.

Imperial College London, University College London, and the University of Edinburgh followed in 19th, 23rd, and 36th place.

It’s followed by the King’s College London, University of Manchester, London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, University of Bristol, and the University of Southampton.

The ranking evaluated 1,000 universities, up from 750 last year, across 65 countries. The ranking lists its pick of the 1000 top universities in the world, using criteria such as global and regional research reputation, publications, books, conferences, citation impact and international collaboration. No. 1 on the list is Harvard University.

Prof. Dr. Amarendra Bhushan Dhiraj is a publishing executive and economist who is the CEO and editor-in-chief of The CEOWORLD magazine, one of the world’s most influential and recognized global news publications.
