The 50 Best Managed Fortune Companies In America, 2017
Amazon has been ranked named one on the inaugural ranking of America’s most effectively managed companies by the Drucker Institute’s Management Top 250, followed by Apple and Alphabet, Inc., the parent company of Google.
It’s worth noting that tech companies took home 7 of the top 10 spots Amazon (No. 1), Apple (NO. 2), Alphabet (NO. 3), IBM (NO. 5), Microsoft (NO. 6), Cisco Systems (NO. 9), and Nvidia (NO. 10).
America’s 50 most effectively managed companies, based on the principles espoused by business guru Peter Drucker.
The Management Top 250 looked at 5 areas reflecting Drucker’s core principles: customer satisfaction, employee engagement and development, innovation, social responsibility and financial strength.
Drucker, who died in 2005, wrote 39 books and has been called the founder of modern management theory.
