How High Fashion Went Sky high: Spring Fashion Show 2014?
Recently, Jessica Minh Anh, model, entrepreneur and global fashion show organiser held “Spring Fashion Show 2014” at the 128m long OCBC Skyway at Gardens By The Bay.
However, as someone who has been covering the shows on and off since 2009, it does feel like you won’t have to go to outside of your comfort zone to rock this season’s trends, and your closet will have plenty of options come spring.
But beyond the coolness of the clothes, Jessica Minh Anh is the first person to have been granted permission to use the 22-metre high OCBC Skyway as a catwalk, organized by J Model Management. It featured Haute Couture and Prêt-à-Porter fashion collections from Europe, Asia, America, and Africa.
The audience was seated at the Supertree Grove, where they were able to enjoy panoramic views of the 128 metre-long runway, which was staged 25 metres above ground.
“I am no longer dreaming. I’ve been flying the world actualising it” said Jessica Minh Anh, who has also staged fashion shows on London’s Tower Bridge above the Thames river as well as the Grand Canyon Skywalk, the World’s Highest Fashion Show, in the United States.
