Lance Kawaguchi, CEO of Cure Brain Cancer Foundation since 2021, comes to the non-profit industry after over 25 years of global finance and banking experience. His outstanding leadership and innovative approach to diversity and inclusion have been recognized by many peak global bodies, including the Treasury Management International, the BAME100 Board Talent Index and as one of UPstanding 100’s leading ethnic minority executives. Lance was named 2022 CEO Magazine Global’s Not-For-Profit Executive of the Year and 2022 Third Sector CEO of the Year, becoming the first person to receive both recognitions, let alone within the same year. He has also represented Cure Brain Cancer Foundation in ringing the opening bell of the Nasdaq stock exchange, the first time an Australian cancer charity has ever done so.
