Bill Price is an opinion columnist is the president of Driva Solutions, LLC, a boutique customer experience consulting firm based in Bellevue, WA, that has served more than 160 companies. He is the co-author with David Jaffe of three books: The Frictionless Organization: Deliver Great Customer Experiences with Less Effort (2022), Your Customer Rules! (2015), and The Best Service Is No Service (2008). He was Amazon’s first global vice president of customer service, formed and led MCI Call Center Services for eight years in the '90s, and started his career with McKinsey & Company. He has a BA from Dartmouth and an MBA from Stanford.
