Bestseller India’s CEO and Country Head, Vineet Gautam, will step down from his position at the end of December this year. Gautam, who joined the clothing retailer in 2010, played a key role in introducing popular brands like Jack & Jones, Vero Moda, Only, and Selected Homme to the Indian market.
Anders Holch Povlsen, CEO and owner of Bestseller acknowledged Gautam’s significant contributions, expressing appreciation for his years of service. Povlsen also emphasized the exciting potential in India and affirmed the company’s commitment to future growth and expansion in the country.
Reflecting on his 15-year journey with Bestseller, Gautam described his experience as deeply rewarding. He expressed confidence that the strong foundation built during his tenure would continue to flourish after his departure.
Since its inception, Bestseller India has expanded to 322 standalone stores and operates over 1,578 shop-in-shop locations across the country.
