Salesforce and Workday CEOs Announce AI Partnership to Enhance HR and Onboarding
Jim Cramer, Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff, and Workday CEO Carl Eschenbach unveiled their companies’ new partnership aimed at developing artificial intelligence to improve onboarding and human resources, among other functions.
The CEOs emphasized that the partnership’s strength lies in combining their extensive data resources. Benioff explained that AI thrives on data access, stating that their collaboration ensures customers have the necessary data to realize the full potential of artificial intelligence.
Eschenbach highlighted that the partnership leverages the three most critical data sets in the enterprise: employee data, customer data, and financial data. He noted that this integration allows customers to access services seamlessly without switching platforms.
Eschenbach added that the partnership and data sharing enables users to stay within their preferred platforms, such as Slack, Workday, or Salesforce, and still access the combined data sets. This integration enhances the overall user experience and efficiency.
Salesforce and Workday are both prominent cloud-based software companies. Salesforce is recognized for its Slack application and solutions for sales, customer service, and marketing. Workday specializes in human resources, recruiting, and workforce management.
