Andrew Bresler Appointed CEO of Saxo UK
Saxo UK, the British branch of the Danish multi-asset trading and investment firm Saxo, has named Andrew Bresler as its new CEO, starting on June 3. Bresler succeeds interim CEO Simon Camilleri. Saxo Group, established in 1992, manages over $100 billion in client assets and provides investment solutions to more than 120 financial institutions. Its UK subsidiary has been operating in London since 2006.
He previously contributed to Saxo’s leadership team in the Asia-Pacific region, serving as the Deputy Head of Sales Trading in the company’s Singapore office from 2016 to 2018. After his role at Saxo, Bresler continued his career in Singapore with Citibank, where he was the Regional Head of Brokerage, Portfolio Finance, and Digital Investments for APAC and EMEA. His most recent position was with InvestCloud, a US-based global wealth and asset management solutions provider, where he rose to Chief Revenue Officer and Deputy General Manager of the company’s APAC division.
Stig Christensen, Saxo’s Chief Commercial Officer, highlighted Bresler’s extensive knowledge of the industry, products, platforms, and clients, expressing strong confidence in the future success and ambitious growth plans for Saxo’s UK business.
