Julie Berg Succeeds Paul Corrigan as CFO of Mainstream Renewable Power
Mainstream Renewable Power is poised for a transformative phase with the appointment of Julie Berg as its Chief Financial Officer, effective from the second quarter of 2024. Berg assumes the CFO mantle from Paul Corrigan, who has steered Mainstream’s financial strategies since 2020.
Notably, Corrigan’s pivotal role in streamlining Mainstream’s Energia portfolios in Chile in 2023 has laid a robust foundation for the company’s future endeavors. As he transitions to the role of Commercial Director, Corrigan will continue to play a crucial role in overseeing Mainstream’s commercial ventures in Latin America, particularly in Chile, where the company manages 1GW of wind and solar assets.
Bringing with her a wealth of expertise garnered over 27 years in finance, Berg transitions from her role as Chief Financial Officer at Aker Carbon Capture, a sister company of Mainstream. Her tenure at Aker, which commenced in December 2023, underscores her adeptness in navigating complex financial landscapes.
Prior to her tenure at Aker Carbon Capture, Berg held influential leadership positions at KPMG, including spearheading the Audit & Assurance group in Oslo. Her extensive international experience within the energy and industrial sectors underscores her versatility and strategic acumen.
Mary Quaney, Mainstream’s Group CEO, expressed her enthusiasm about Berg’s appointment, highlighting her distinguished leadership and commitment to advancing the energy transition. Quaney looks forward to collaborating with Berg as Mainstream embarks on its mission to spearhead the transition to renewable energy, marking an exciting new chapter for the company.
