Leadership Transition at Lockton Norway
Lockton has announced a significant leadership change in its Norwegian operations. Anders Johannessen has been appointed as the new chief executive, succeeding Cato Aamodt effective May 1.
Johannessen, who previously served as the head of special risks, is tasked with leading Lockton Norway into its next phase of growth. He expressed gratitude to Aamodt for his contributions in expanding Lockton’s capabilities in various sectors, including professional and financial risks, transactions, private equity, and marine insurance.
Under Aamodt’s guidance, Lockton Norway has seen substantial growth, positioning itself as a leader in the industry. To continue this momentum, Johannessen aims to build upon the existing strengths while further enhancing Lockton’s global marine efforts.
Joining Johannessen in steering Lockton Norway is Lorraine Boyle, who takes on the role of chair. This leadership transition reflects Lockton’s commitment to fostering talent and delivering exceptional service to clients.
EJ Hentenaar, Lockton’s Europe CEO, commended the contributions of both Aamodt and Johannessen, emphasizing the importance of investing in talented individuals to drive sustained growth and client satisfaction.
