Alessandro Des Dorides, a seasoned veteran in the oil and gas domain, boasts over 24 years of extensive experience in the energy sector. Armed with an Economics degree from Sapienza University of Rome and an MBA from SDA Bocconi, Alessandro brings a wealth of expertise to Nayara Energy’s helm.

Chairman of Nayara Energy, Prasad Panicker, expressed confidence in Alessandro’s capability to lead the company into its next growth phase, leveraging his profound insights and diverse background in the energy industry.

Nayara Energy stands as a significant player in India’s downstream sector, contributing approximately eight percent to the nation’s refining output. Central to its operations is the Vadinar refinery, the country’s second-largest single-site refinery, boasting a capacity of 20 million tonnes per annum (MTPA), complemented by a network of over 6,300 retail outlets.
