As of March 7, 2024, Zhong Shanshan was the wealthiest person in China, with an estimated net worth of 62.6 billion U.S. dollars, followed by Zhang Yiming (No. 2, $43.4 billion), Colin Zheng Huang (No. 3, $41.1 billion); and William Ding (No. 4, $32.8 billion).

Ma Huateng is the fifth-richest person in China, with a whopping $30.3 billion. He Xiangjian ranked 6th with a personal wealth of $25.0 billion, followed by Jack Ma with $24.5 billion. Eric Li is placed 8th with a net worth of $16.3 billion. Qin Yinglin ($15.6 billion) occupied the 9th position among the top 10 wealthiest people in China.
