Data Zoo Welcomes Charlie Minutella as CEO

Data Zoo has announced the appointment of Charlie Minutella as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective February. Minutella succeeds company founder Tony Fitzgibbon as Data Zoo’s CEO, with Fitzgibbon transitioning to the role of Chairman and Chief Strategy Officer.

Data Zoo underscores Minutella’s background in overseeing compliance, risk, and identity teams as instrumental to his recruitment. Commenting on his new role, Minutella emphasized Data Zoo’s unique blend of agility, innovation, and unwavering commitment to compliance. He expressed eagerness to leverage these strengths in addressing complex challenges and filling industry gaps.

With his global leadership role based in New York, Minutella brings over five years of experience from the London Stock Exchange Group, where he held various positions, including leading the Refinitiv risk division.

Headquartered in Sydney, Data Zoo specializes in verifying customers for various businesses through services such as document authentication, business checks, online fraud detection, and real-time data verification.
