Meati Foods has appointed Phil Graves as Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately, to spearhead the financial strategies essential for Meati’s ongoing expansion endeavors.

Tyler Huggins, CEO and co-founder of Meati Foods, lauds Graves’ proficiency in driving purpose-driven enterprises toward profitability, emphasizing the critical role his expertise plays in both short-term achievements and the company’s long-term mission. Graves brings a wealth of experience in corporate finance within organizations dedicated to social and environmental impact alongside financial viability. Prior to joining Meati, he served as CEO of Wild Idea Buffalo Co., where he played a key role in expanding the company’s footprint while championing environmental regeneration and food system sustainability. Graves’ illustrious career also includes roles as Chief Sustainability Officer and Foundation President at Bass Pro Shops, Vice President of Corporate Development at Patagonia, and the founder of its corporate venture fund, Tin Shed Ventures. Additionally, he served as a board member for the Center for Responsible Business at the Haas Business School of the University of California, Berkeley.
