C&C Group Names Andrew Andrea as its new CFO

C&C Group plc, a prominent vertically integrated premium drinks company, announces the appointment of Andrew Andrea as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Andrea is set to assume the role of CFO and Executive Director, effective from March 1, 2024.

Andrew’s selection comes after a thorough recruitment process conducted by the Nomination Committee in collaboration with an independent executive search firm. Ralph Findlay, who has served as Executive Chair since May 2023, will transition back to the role of Non-Executive Chair after a brief transition period following Andrew’s incorporation into the Group.

Andrew, aged 54, is a seasoned professional in the drinks industry, having held senior positions at Marston’s plc, a prominent independent brewing and pub retailing business in the UK, for over two decades. He joined Marston’s in 2002 and assumed the role of Finance Director on the Board in 2009. Over the years, he served in various senior capacities within the organization, including a 12-year stint as CFO & Corporate Development Officer and later as CEO. During his tenure as CEO, he successfully navigated the business through the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent complex macroeconomic environment. Andrew has previously held roles at Guinness Brewing Worldwide and Bass Brewers Limited. Andrew, a qualified Chartered Accountant, also serves as a Non-Executive Director at Portmeirion Group plc.
