DN Solutions Hires Daniel Medrea as the new CEO
DN Solutions has announced the appointment of Daniel Medrea as the CEO of DN Solutions America (DNSA). With 27 years of experience in technical and leadership roles within the North American machine tool industry, Medrea brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the role.
Wonjong Kim, the global CEO and president of DN Solutions, expressed his confidence in Daniel’s leadership, stating, “As an experienced business leader, Daniel will work with our DNSA team and distributors to drive us toward our goals to become a top, high-end solutions provider to manufacturers across all markets that we serve. He will focus on go-to-market strategies for DNSA and support the overall globalization of DN Solutions.”
Expressing his enthusiasm for the opportunities ahead, Medrea stated, “I’m very excited about the opportunities ahead. I’ve seen DN Solutions grow and achieve success thanks to its excellent reputation, well-rounded product line, and dedicated distributor network. Building off on this strong foundation and in partnership with the DNSA team and distributors, I will work hard to drive customer satisfaction and deliver long-term, sustainable growth.”
Graham Hooper, President and CEO of Ellison Technologies, DN Solutions’ largest distributor in North America, endorsed Daniel Medrea’s appointment, saying, “I’ve personally worked with Daniel, and I know that DN Solutions will flourish under his leadership. He has deep experience working with distributors and customers, and I look forward to the partnership that Daniel will develop with the DNSA distributor community.”
Daniel Medrea’s journey to this position started with the completion of his master’s degree in mechanical engineering and machine tool building technology. Over the past 30 years, he has gained invaluable experience working in various manufacturing roles, from the shop floor to executive levels. His most recent role was as the Chief Sales and Service Officer at DMG MORI USA. Throughout his career, Medrea has held diverse technical and managerial positions, including applications engineer, engineering manager, product sales manager, managing director, and chief operating officer.
